1. Data Separation Policy

AngelPass employs a strict Data Separation Policy to protect your privacy while utilizing blockchain technology. We ensure that your personal data remains confidential and is never exposed on the public ledger.

2. Off-Chain Storage

All Personally Identifiable Information (PII), including your full name, student ID number, email address, and contact details, are securely stored off-chain in our private, encrypted database. This information is strictly used for authentication and internal verification purposes by Holy Angel University.

3. On-Chain Storage

The only data stored on the public blockchain is your cryptographic wallet address and the Soulbound Tokens (SBTs) representing your event tickets. This public address acts as a pseudonymous identifier, ensuring transparency and immutability without compromising your real-world identity.

4. Custodial Wallet Management

To provide a seamless experience, AngelPass manages an invisible custodial wallet on your behalf. The private keys to this wallet are securely encrypted and managed by our infrastructure. We do not share these keys with third parties, and they are used solely to facilitate ticket minting and verification.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your off-chain personal data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this statement or as required by university policy. You may request the deletion of your account, which will remove your off-chain data; however, please note that on-chain records (wallet address and SBTs) are immutable and cannot be erased.
